Title: I dropped my HD-CEU2 Need to reformat?
Post by: someja on February 10, 2010, 02:56:44 PM

Hello, Today I dropped my HD-CEU2 external from about 3 feet up while it was working which i already know is a bad thing, I do not care for the data, as all it was was games, all I want is for the actual HDD to work, after a while it loads up as just simply Drive E: I use Windows 7 Home Prem 32bit

I have tried to reformat it, but it just says that I cannot, what else can I do to get it to work again?

When I dropped it swiftly after for about a minute it made a strange noise and vibrated rapidly like a heart beat, beep boop beep boop. Hope this helps, if you need any more info, please post it and tell me how to find it out. Thanks.
