Title: Buffalo Linkstation Pro blinking orange on front LED
Post by: hiro24 on February 10, 2010, 06:45:43 AM

Title says it all.

A few days ago, the power blinked.  The Linkstation was on a surge protector, but ever since then it's been acting... squirrelly.  Yesterday I had to reset it 4 times, due to it just.. stopping responding.  I tried the web based check disk, along with restoring factory defaults.

This morning, after finding it unresponsive again, rebooted it a couple times.  It's current state is that the front LED is randomly, repeatedly flasing an orange LED.  Can't seem to find documentation on what this means exactly, or what to do.  Help?  Has it become bricked?  Will I need to send it in for a warentee replacement?  It's only 4mo old.

What is the sequence of the orange flashing (ie how many blinks, is there a pattern of long and short blinks?)
