Title: Unable to access Linkstation by all methods
Post by: davidkohl on February 04, 2010, 04:35:18 PM

I have a LinkStation Pro Duo that is about a year or so old.  Has worked fine on my network for a long time but as of a few months ago I cannot access it at all.  I am looking for some troubleshooting advise

- Cannot see the LS on my router (connect to the router and look at the DHCP table and no reference to the LS)

- NAS Navi from several different systems on my network do not find the LS

- The power light is constantly flashing green and the other light (connection?) is solid green.

I have reset the device on several occassions and let it stay for days or weeks but no recovery.

I would pull out the drives and mount them in a desktop to check them out but even if there is a problem with the drives I would expect to be able to connect to the box through a browser.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like it isn't booting up at all.  The only option that we have for this problem is the TFTP procedure.
