Post by: Danijel on February 02, 2010, 12:12:06 PM

Hello all...

I have a problem with my unit.

I have install unit on my laptop first. It's working.

Then I install unit on my computer. It's not working.

I'm from Serbia. Problem is:

LEDs on my unit doesn't work. When I install unit on laptop, I have plug-out a power and plug-in it again after 2-3 minutes. It's working, but LEDs doesn't. The LAN on unit doesn't work, too.. What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Thanks a lot..

Danijel

Hi Dan,

When you plug in the power, did you push the switch on the back to on?

Is the top LED blinks in red or blue?

When you unplugged it from your laptop, did you switch it off before unplugging the power?

Is there any indication of error's comming from the unit?  LEDs blinking?  Beeping noise?  Fan Spinning?  Which firmware version do you have for the unit.

Try to  flash the most recent version of firmware.  It really hard to trouble shoot this issue due to the fact that there is no idication of errors.

You need to download it from your regional support site.  Save it to your desktop and extract the files.  You should see a lsupdater.exe file.  Run that and it will find the unit.  Hit update.
