Title: Linkstaion CH1.0TL-V2 + Vista 64 SP2 -> no wake up :-(
Post by: radlerhh on February 01, 2010, 06:40:41 AM

Dear all,

I'm quite happy with a LS CH1.0TL, while running it connected with an XP SP2 machine via Fritz!Box 7050. Now I changed the machine, running Vista 64 SP2 (next days Win7 64), and the Linkstation doesn't wake up any more (in fact, sometimes it seems to do so on it's own, but falls asleep again, though there are memeo-jobs still busy). When I switch the LS to "ON"-mode, everything works fine, but I really like it to power up and spin down on it's own.

The LS's firmware-version is 1.21 (supposed to be the latest), NAS Navigator 2 (constantly running) is a mint download from the buffalo site.

Thanks for a hint and sorry to bother with these frequent and similar questions ... (I didn't make it with the answers already given on this board)

Sounds like all of your configurations and settings are proper, I would imagine that a firewall or antivirus program could be blocking the communication from your desktop to the linkstation using the nas navigator.  If you have any other machines on the network trying installing that program nas navi 2.22 on those.
