Title: question about Linkstation 210
Post by: fred999 on June 02, 2022, 12:19:01 PM
Hi all,
Kind of a newb here, hoping to get some info.
I'm planning to purchase a Linkstation 210 or even the 4TB version to replace my WD MyBookLive.  Or even the Linkstation 710.

With my WD MyBookLive, I was able to use Win7 file manager to access the drive, copy files etc.

Can I do that with the Buffalo products mentioned above?

Second question, can the files be accessed using SMB 1.0.  I know most devices turned off SMB 1.0, but you can turn it on in Windows if you choose.

Thanks for any advice.
