Title: BUFFALO WHR-GR00N AOSS PROBLEM.. HELP PLEASE (T-T) (Japanese Router)
Post by: chino213 on January 30, 2010, 02:03:29 AM

ok, bought this router

here in Japan and still really have problems in reading there letters,

which is really a big problem because the manual that came from is also obviously in Japanese. -_-?

but when I read about the info on the internet about the AOSS in my router thought it was gonna be easy and so i tried to do the instructions but no matter how many times i tired to, press the AOSS button and wait for it to start blinking and then click the AOSS button in the client manager and waited for about 2 mins, then after doing those it always says something about not to be able to detect it. =(

Can Someone please, please tell me if I did somethng wrong? or did i missed doing something?

Found this site about setting up the router manually http://www.columbia.edu/acis/networks/aptnet/buffalo/index.html. The model of the router is different but tried to follow the instructions anyways, though the instructions were in English was still able to manage doing those changes in a Japanese site but when i tried connecting to it, it says its 100% connected with 54.0mbps but when I tried browsing the web it says the page cannot be found. T T

so I tried to change the wireless authentication to WPA-PSK, then wireless encryption to AES but still ddn't got any luck..

Will really appreciate any ideas, replies..

Thank you
