Title: Linkstation Live Green Power Light Flashing
Post by: wainy on January 27, 2010, 03:13:01 PM

Hi,

I have had a Linkstation Live LS-CH1 1TB since May last year, and it has been great to use.......up to now.

The last time is used it was on friday (27/01/10) and it was fine. I tried to connect to it using my laptop and ps3 today as usual and it didn't work so i checked in the Nas Navigator and it wasn't there.

I then went to check the unit itself to see if it needed a re-boot and the unit is making no noise as if there is no power to it, and the only sign that any power is there is a small green light next to the power connector that is flashing, along with a quiet 'click'. The light on the front of the unit is not on and the fan is not turning, it is totally silent apart from the clicking noise.

I have tried removing the power supply and re-connecting it, leaving it off for a few hours etc but it still just clicks. It doesn't matter if the ethernet cable is connected or not, or what setting the power switch is on.

Is there anything i can do?

thanks in advance

Simon
