I am currently doing a physical format on my Buffalo Ministation HD-PF320U2 320GB. I understand from the internet that physical format took a very long time to complete. However, its take too long time and i really dunno when its gonna end. It has been formatting for the last 2696 minutes (almost 45 hours...).
Can I stop the physical format? How should i stop it?
Thats a little too long. By the format atempt all data are lost anyway- you could try to kill the process in task manager if you can't cancel. Otherwise do a reboot. Do a quick format and see if that works. Afterwards there are two methodes for formatting. If you try the full format again make sure suspension mode etc is deactivated for thr time formatting.
