Title: Cancelling an 'immediate backup'
Post by: thedude on January 26, 2010, 05:30:51 AM

Hi to everybody,

I have two linkstatino pro NAS devices and have had them for a couple of years now.  All is working fine until a few days ago.  I used the backup immediately facility and it has been stuck doing it for 4 days now.  It usually takes just a few hours so I'm assuming it has hit a problem.  Is there a way I can cancel a backup in progress?  Restarting the main buffalo drive doesn't help as it starts up again once it is back up and running.

Regards

You have to let it finish its backup.

Hi. It has now been doing this (apparently) for 10 days.  This seems pretty unlikely on a 300GB drive that usually backs up in a matter of 10-15 minutes.  Is it now stuck forever like this?

If that is true, it is a serious flaw.

This is happening to mine as well. I have all jobs assigned and working well. Job #1 is stuck and was the only "immediate"....the rest were all scheduled. How do I cancel it so that I can reasign Job #1?
