Title: LinkStation stopped working - trouble shooting recent software and device
Post by: jaydenny on January 18, 2010, 06:40:16 PM

I have installed and used in the past this Link Station. It is LS320GL model. Suddenly it stopped working after a MS XP Pro update and I also added Kasperksy Virus and Internet SW.

I thought that by turning off the Kasperksy Virus software and firewall I could get it running again --- no.

I went to your boards and read that it should work with a browser. So I point the browser at the IP address and it get an error it cannot find the web page.

So I used Ping application on IP address and ping said it could see the device.

Any idea why Windows XP Pro with Kasperksy Software shots off the device. This happened on all of our household workstations.
