Title: hd-px500u2 How to create 2 partitions ?

How do I create 2 partitions ? 1 is hardware encrypted & 1 is not.

Right click on computer and go to manage.  Under Disk Management you should see the drive.  From there you can right click on the drive and go to partition.

Hi Josh,

 

You sure this can be done as the HK distributor said it cannot be done (i.e, 1 encrypted & 1 un-encrypted)?

You should be able to create a partition.  The CDROM partition you cannot get rid of.

ok but how to make one partition encrypted and the other partition un-encrypted?

Since no1 answered, I tried myself.

I created 2 partitions but SecureLockManager encrypted both partitions.

Is there anyway to make only 1 partition encrypted (I don't see any options in the software to allow me to do this) ??
