My LS pro duo is version 3 and has a FUNC buttom with 2 USB ports. M my admin password has stopped working but i can finf all my data at the LS pro.

How can i reset the LS pro to default password or go back to factory settings with default password?

 

i can destroy the data.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Move the switch to the off position, then hold the function button while flipping the switch back to on .

 

When you see the blue function light turn on, let go.

 

Wait five seconds, then press the button in again for five seconds, and then let go.

 

Wait for the blue light to go solid or go away entirely.

   I have done this prodecure over 5 times. But no effect. i am shure that i give the right password and username. What can i do - i can reset the hole link station and accept when all datas are deleted.

Try force flashing the firmware with the option to "delete user config" checked.  If it asks for a password to update try admin/password and/or admin/blank (no password).

   

How can i do that (the force flashing)?

I can not put the drive in the EM Mode

 

I have a LS-W2,0TGL/R1 -EU  with 2 USB-Ports.

I am very sure I have the correct password for the webadmin, but it does not go

 

I do not understand this technique.
Surely it can not be that such a simple NAS drive has so many problems.

It must be possible to set the password back, or at least to bring the device back to factory condition.
