Title: Please Help!!!! 6 flashing red lights
Post by: btole79 on January 18, 2010, 04:11:37 PM

hello everyone,

I need some help very badly.  I have a linkstation 1TB.  It is an older model that has 2 1TB drives that are in a RAID 0 setup.  I unplugged the box to move it to another place in my office and when i turned it back on i get 6 flashing red lights over and over again.  I tried hitting the reset button on the back, hoping the issue would fix its self, but after the button is pushed i get two green lights but no connection to the box.  I have tried ping and checked my DHCP server for new IPs.  nothing.  I downloaded the firmware updater and it never finds the machine.

any ideas?  is it rebuilding the RAID?

just need some help ASAP.

Thanks,:smileymad:

It looks like it might have lost its boot image.  You will need to try the TFTP boot.
