Title: LinkNavigator? NASNavigator? What's the difference?
Post by: SwanOnChips on January 29, 2022, 03:19:23 PM
I just picked up a LinkStation Pro LS-WVL/E and reviewing the software to download. I have both and XP and a Win10 I need to connect with it.

The NAS itself has already gone through the setup with the installed disk. Now I need to connect the PCs. :)

It's been a looong time since I set up a Buffalo NAS (it was so easy).

I am assuming I should be able to access this NAS on a network with both XP and Win10. But probably different SW on the PC's. Is this correct?

Interested in any replies you would receive. However, my ASSumption is that LinkNavigator is intended for your LinkStation, and NasNavigator is for the TeraStations.

I have seen no documentation that says what NasNavigator applies or does not apply to.
