Title: LS420D08B problem replacing dead disk drive
Post by: andybster on January 25, 2022, 12:00:44 PM
One of the 2 3Tb disks died on me so I ordered a new 6Tb disk and replaced the broken drive. I 'reset' the Linkstation and it reset finding my new disk. However, even after the FOUR DAY reset, the linkstation still only showed me what used to be on the station - a corrupted 'Music' folder on a folder called 'share'. Even without the othe working 3Tb disk in (just the blank 6Tb disk) the LS STILL just shows the same shared folder!!?? Any takers? I have upgraded the firmware, got the latest NAS Navigator etc. . and countlessly restet both the LS and PC
