Hello,

Do the LS-CHL series have SATA/300GB disks and the ability to backup to and from each other. I want 2 units.

Or are these only available in the Pro versions of the LiveStation?

In the UK by the way.

None of the CHLs come with a 300GB HDD that I know of. They can backup to each other but the best way to do so is across the network.

What do you mean by "Pro" versions. There were two different hardware versions but it is impossible to tell, as far as I know, which one you are getting.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry what I meant by SATA/300 was a 3Gbps SATA controller instead of a 1.5Gbps controller.

This is what i'm looking at http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/500Gb-Buffalo-LS-CH500L-Linkstation-Live-with-Gigabit-Ethernet-Bit-Torrent-DLNA-Certified, but the Buffalo site doesn't actually state it has the ability to backup to another identical drive or if it has 1.5Gbps or 3Gbps SATA support; http://www.buffalo-technology.com/products/network-storage/linkstation/ls-chl-linkstation-live/

whereas the Pro versions do state it; http://www.buffalo-technology.com/products/network-storage/linkstation/ls-xhl-linkstation-pro/

Are there PDFs available for each model so I can do a like-for-like comparison?

The PDF are pretty basic and what your looking for I dont believe it will give you what you are looking for. Ill PM you with any results I can find.
