So...had this issue before and thought I resolved it.
The LS210D sets its default IP as 192.168.0.108 with the default gateway at 192.168.0.21

This is a problem because the router is set up as 192.168.1.2 as the default gateway.

The LS therefore will not synch with the network and is not accessible by PC.

The obvious fix would be to change the IP address but it won't let me. I've tried.

Maybe I'm using the wrong password. I've tried leaving it blank or using Admin or admin.

To add. I have tried resetting. I have tried to manually enter it. All the other devices synch fine and are assigned 192.168.1.XX as their IP. It's just the NAS which has decided it won't play nice.
Adding to the frustration is that the NAS is on the network and accessible through the Navigator. The time and date are off and the the IP is wrong. But it won't let me change it.

Seriously, folks I need help here......anyone? Buller?

Pretty much I have exactly the same problem.   The IP address of my LinkStation Pro Duo (LS-WTGL/R1) has been set to a static address using 192.186.1.231 - however the IP range of my router is 192.186.0.xxx   

Strange that Navigator can 'see' the drive - and can tell me that the IP address is wrong - but, it won't let me CHANGE the IP address.   =(

I did a factory reset using the function button - after that the ip address got fixed and I was able to use my NAS drive.

You can also statically set your PC/laptop adapter to the same subnet as the statically set linkstation. Plug in the ethernet cable from the linkstation to your computer. Set a new IP on the linkstation that corresponds to the IP scheme of your home network. Then set your desktop/laptop back to DHCP or whatever it was before.
