Title: HP 4345mfp Scan to folder option to HD-CEU2 LAN authenticating user

Trying to get an HP 4345 multifunction printer to scan to an HD-CEU2 drive attached to my LAN.   The printer seems to want login credentials to get to the drive.    I initially just have the drive admin account setup with no password. (relax, it's not on a LAN that's attached to the internet).  

 

The printer didn't like the drive at all when I disabled the admin account.  But when I enabled the admin account with no password the printer software just sits there and keeps trying to connect without any messages.

 

I also have this problem submitted to HP but thought I could find something here.
