Title: Referencing LS220D NAS files from an m3u playlist
Post by: tiptonian on October 01, 2021, 01:00:26 PM
I am trying to include some files stored on my LS220D NAS in an M3U playlist. The playlist is to be read/played by an IPTV app running on my Tizen based smart TV and therefore I need to reference the NAS files using a URL format, but I am struggling to get this to work. I have tried a number of variations on "192.169.1.***:9000/TV/file.mp4" but I can't find a way of writing the URL which can be recognised by the IPTV app or indeed by VLC on my computer.
Can anyone advise me please whether this is possible anyway; whether I need to adjust my NAS settings to make it work; and if it should be possible, how do I write the URL so that the file can be accessed from the playlist?
Thanks
