Title: RAID mount failure
Post by: lincolnlim on January 05, 2010, 11:28:31 AM

Hi,

We brought a few Buffalo Terastation Pro NAS. They keep getting below RAID error.

RAID Error Notification

HDD error occured

Target array:RAID Array 1 (md2)

RAID array can not be mounted.

[TeraStationInformation]

 TeraStationName: BUFFALO301 (TS-HTGL/R5)

 Time: 2010/01/04 05:43:09

 Setting Screen: http://192.168.30.200/

Here's the current firmware: TS-HTGL/R5 1.10 .

Is there a firmware that we can install to resolve this issue? If yes, where can I download the new firmware?

Or, how do we reset it to factory default and re-create the whole RAID again.

Thanks,

It sounds like you might have a bad HDD.  Are you getting any red lights next to any of the drives?  You may just need to replace the drive and restructure the array
