Title: can i use a 1tb hard drive with a linkstation ls-500gl?

i have been running out of storage on my linkstation ls-500gl due to my backups so i wanna know if i can use a 1tb hard drive with my linkstation.

I believe they sold a 1tb variant of this model, it should be able to handle up to 2tb without doing anything special.

I was able to make 6tb work with mine running Debian with a hybrid partition table.
