Title: LS210D and a Seagate 8tb USB drive

I just added an 8tb seagate usb drive to my LS210D, and I can access it via a new network share (usbdisk1) but it does not appear in the USB drives utility.
Am I missing something obvious? The goad is to have the 8tb drive act as a backup for my media files and network shared data.
