Title: Linkstation Player for Andriod (moto droid)
Post by: autoxinvr6 on January 03, 2010, 01:07:12 AM

I downloaded the app Linkstation Player Lite to give it a try before I buy but, I'm not exactly sure how to set it up.  Or if my linkstation is even compatable for that matter...

I have a LinkStation Pro Duo LS-W1.0TGL/R1 and it works just great over my network. As of right now I stream movies from the Linkstation through the XBOX into the TV.  I love it...

Anyway.  The perameters that the LinkStation Player asks for during set up are as follows:

LS Hostname

Port

Share Name

What are these values and how do I find them so I can connect my LS to my Droid over my local area?  Potentially remotely over the 3g?

TIA - Nelson

I'm not familiar with that app. The LS Hostname and Share Name are self-explanitory, but the port number may be different. Find out what protocol the app works over, and then I can tell you the port number it uses.
