Title: Can no access one of my NAS's
Post by: attroll on January 23, 2021, 10:47:55 AM
I have two NAS's. One is a NAS a TS5800D and the other is a LS-QL/R5 Series.
They were both connected to my laptop a few days ago.
I updated the firmware on my TS5800D a few days ago and ever since the upgrade my LS-QL/R5 Series will not open.
I can run NAS Navigator2 software and both drives show up. I can open the TS5800D drive and browse through it but when I try to open the LS-QL/R5 Series nothing happens.
The NAS Navigator2 software is finding it but will not open it.
What happened and how can I fix this?

I'm experiencing the same thing on my QL/R5.  I can see it through Navigator and can access through Settings, but cannot view the Shares.

I am still having this problem. I still can not access the drive.
I can log into it but I can't browse it.
It shows up correctly on BUFFALO NAS Navigator2 but when I click on it or try to Browse Shares, nothing happens.
I can log into the NAS, but I cannot browse it.
Any help would be appreciated?

Are you (anyone in this thread) trying to access on a Win 10 machine? Do you have SMB 1.0 disabled?

I tried Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows XP and the problem persisted in all of them, I even tried it on a totally different network and the problem was not solved.
For me the problem is in the NAS

Thank you mh1983. Once I enabled SMB 1.0 the drive showed up under my network.

I spoke too soon.
Last night after I enabled SMB 1.0 I was able to connect to the Links again. I was also able to map the drive.
However, after I did a rebook on my computer, I can't no longer access the Links.
I can access it through my Buffalo Navigator2 and it is slow in bringing it up, but I can no longer access it any other way.
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
