I'm having a hell of a time setting up Web Access. I've created an individual User with a password and after I set that user password when I save the change it gives me hidden password characters that are way more then the password I set. My Buffalonas.com name works but then I get another ID and PW window that won't take any combination of existing ID's or passwords including the admin ID and PW.
This is very frustrating to say the least. Any help is appreciated.
If you call in we don't have much of a call wait and we could walk through setup.
Biggest thing you need to do is open TCP/UDP 9000 on your router to the static IP address set to the buffalo. Also turn off upnp and https/ssl , DNS hostname blank and set to port 9000.
Then go to folder setup select shared folder and then set to allow anonymous. and see if you can get off your lan and see if you can access it through buffalonas.com
I would recommend creating a new folder and then a new user if you are going to do access permissions.
test that you opened port 9000 properly for your whole network or try to open the port 9000 for your pc's ip address and then test it at canyouseeme.org . Until you open port 9000 it won't work, call router company if you have issues with that.
