Title: TS-TGL not being seen on Linksys WRTP54G
Post by: glgger on December 21, 2009, 05:37:08 AM

When my TS-TGL boots up it seems to get an IP from the router because I can see it in the DHCP client list. But when the bootup is complete the drive defaults back to the 192.162.11.150 IP. I've flashed the firmware on the drive, cleared the DHCP table, tried changing configurations on the router, opened all the firewalls, and still can''t connect to the drive with that router.

I have an older Linksys router that the drive work fine on. I can use it on my network because it will no support my IP phone system.

What am I missing?

Yes, I realize that it is an issue with the router, but the help I;m looking for is what may the problem with the router. I have PC's and printers connected to it all configured to DHCP and they are working fine. Is there a special setting that the TS-TLG needs that other devices don't?

Could someone please help me out with this, all I need to know is, is there a protocol, port, or special configuration setting I need to make in order for the TS to work on a Linksys WRTP54G router?

when I fist turn the TS on it grabs and IP from DHCP but then it drops it and reverts back to the TS default IP. I know this because I have cleared the DHCP client list prior to reboot and claimed that IP on another device. After rebooting the TS it grabs the next available IP and then drops it again.

When I try to connect to the TS with the Navigator software it can't find the drive, I can't ping the default IP. If I change the router IP range to the same range as the TS default I still can't see the TS or ping it.

I know its at router issue, I just don't know were to look.
