Title: buffalo HD-CE500U2 keeps saying it needs re formated but Has lots on it already help please...

Hello Folks

My HD USB listed above keeps showing the reformat disk message, which I really really don't want to do. I went into properties after scouting the internet and found out that the disc is fine and healthy which now means I'm at a brick wall because I'm a complete computer novice so if the solution is anything fancy can you write it out in idiot form for me please.

Any help would be most gratefully recieved.

It is most likely corruption, the only option is to format/ contact data recovery service.
