I have received over 200 of these errors over the weekend. It seems to happen only when I try to move large amounts of data back and forth from the NAS to my computer or the attached (to nas) usb drive. It is also happening when its trying to refresh the library. Can someone please tell me what this error means and if I should exchange this unit immediately? Is the USB drive whats causing the error?

Are you using a USB with your linkstaiton? By any chance to you have the "USB Disk" ticked in the media server.
Davo thanks fro replying, you are the first to even attempt to answer my question. Yes I have a USB and yes it is ticked on because I have my converted DVD movies on it that I want to stream to my xbox. The error happens when I try to refresh my media server or when I try to move large files into th usb or linkstation drive from my computer. Are you trying to tell me that the usb drive is not usable for what I am using it for? To stream my movies to the xbox. I dont understand why it would ask me if I want the usb drive to be visible when my medis server is turned on though? Thanks again for the help.
