Title: RAID exchange from HD-H1.0TGL to HD-H2.0

All,

 

My version 1.0 silver terastation has failed with the flashing diag light. Reading the forums here it seems like a rom error and re-flashing should cure it.

 

Before I try this a friend has offered for me to use his v2.0 silver terastation. The idea being to pull the drives from my v1.0, put them into his v2.0 and copy the data from that to somewhere else. Does anyone know if this would work?

If the model numbers are the same then the HOTHEAD hard drives are interchangeable regardless of the hard drive size.
