I have just purchased a new Linkstation Pro Duo (LS-WTGL/R1) and whenever I log into the web admin, I am unable to see if the left hand navigation.  If I choose view source it appears as though the html contains menu items, however they are covered by some grey color in the browser and I can't click on it.

How can I fix this?  I need to enable Raid-1 on the device and this is the only way I can do it.

It sounds like corrupt firmware try force flashing the firmware back onto the unit.

The flash does not take.  It says there is no device that needs flashing.  What now?

What error message do you receive?

I realize this post is old, but I just upgraded my PC and ran into the same issue. As I searched in vain for a solution I found a bunch of posts with this issue and no answers. I fixed the issue on my PC after a lot of trial and error. In case there is anyone else out their like me that bumps into this thread looking for an answer. I wanted to get the fix listed.

 I turned off My Symantec firewall AND virus protection, and the left menu showed right up. Turning off just the Firewall didnt resolve the issue for me, turning off both did. Now when ever I log on I just need to remember to preemptively turn those 2 things off and it works.

Also, I use IE and have the latest firmware.

I'll add what was discovered in another topic; DISABLE all of your "blocking" addons like NoScript, AdBlockPlus, etc, then see if that menu shows up.  (That solved the problem in the other thread.)
