Title: unable to unlock ministation
Post by: Ile on December 08, 2009, 12:41:34 PM

Hi

I have a ministation 320gb (HD-PF320U2/BK-EU)

The drive is locked with the provided buffalo SecureLock Ware software.

It no longer accepts the password I put in so now I can't access the device.

Is there a way to format or reset the device so that it can be used again? It does not show in my computer nor in disk management and the Buffalo Disk Formatter software isn't able to do anything to it.

The data inside is not critical but the drive is pretty much useless at the moment...

thanks,

Ilkka

Try reinstalling the SLW, when you try to use it with the drive it should format it.
