Title: Terastation 5600D default admin account authentication error
Post by: chris_golightly on October 17, 2020, 10:03:09 AM
Hi All, after firmware updating a 5600D to 4.06 when I go to log into the gui, I get the error titled
"Error: Getting portal information"
and the error message is
"The login status cannot be detected"

then if I ok it just loops back to the logon window.

Any ideas, I've ran the usb recovery a few times now, all runs, no errors on the nas, just cant get into the thing...

I believe some folks have resolved this problem by deleting their browser cache and/or cookies.

Ok, sorted, was odd, every time I tried to update the firmware using the util, this happened. Left it alone, recovered and logged in ok, upgraded from the web gui, worked fine.
