Print Page - Linkstation 500GB - format time

Title: Linkstation 500GB - format time - how long is normal?

How long will the format of 500 GB drive that was full, take.

It's been 24 hrs at least at this point.

INFO LED is solid amber and top 2 green lights appear to solid green all the time.

web interface says it is still formatting but, doesn't give a % GRRR !!

I would imagine it would only take about 6 hours most of the time to format the drive, maybe a night. Hopefully it finished after sometime, let us know if you are having any other specific issues.
