Title: drivestation combo 4 no longer showing up after windows vista wakes from sleeping

i have a drivestation combo 4 that is plugged into my PC via firewire 400.  I'm running vista ultimate will all updates.  

 

Everything seems to work when i plug things in but once vista goes into sleep/hibernation and i wake the machine up the drive is no longer connected.  I have to turn the drive on and off and it will show up again. 

 

Anyone have any ideas?
