Title: TS-III rackmount: Can't add second IP, help needed.
Post by: olvi on November 25, 2009, 03:43:19 AM

Im trying to add IP Address2 to my network setup.

When I modify settings (write new IP address and network mask) it says OK, but when I check it again it says

IP Address2: Not Available

If I turn DHCP on it gets new IP, but I want to use specific IP.

If you're using firmware 1.10, this is a new bug.  Reported the same issue.

Reset the unit to factory defaults and before doing -anything else- set the NIC settings first.

Activities like renaming the admin account or setting pwords seem to break it.

Also be persistant with it and eventually it seems to stick.
