Title: LinkStation LS-CHL05D + Mac OS 10.6
Post by: Santo on November 25, 2009, 02:53:17 AM

Hallo,

I have a LinkStation Live 1 TB LS-CHL05D with Firmware 1.07 running on a Mac-Network.

With Mac OS 10.6 the Auto Power On-function didnt worl, the LinkStation was running whole time without going off.

So I switched back to OS 10.5.8 because I dont want to have LinkStation running all the time.

Is there now a solution for this?

Thanx from Germany

Yes, a solution was found and was announced in the forums as well as in the main post about the Auto function and MacOS10.6.

Go to the www.buffalotech.com/support/downloads page, select your product, and download Mac NASNavi 2.24

The new Navi will send a different WoL signal, that can pass through OS10.6 and get to NASs with the Auto-mode switch selected.
