Title: Buffalo TeraStation WS5420DN6 and Netgear Orbi AC2200 router
Post by: Lynnea1941 on September 18, 2020, 02:42:13 PM
I will be replacing my older Linksys router with a Netgear Mesh system, Orbi AC2200.  I do know that I will need to power down the TeraStation before removing the connection to the Linksys, but is there anything else that needs to be done to make the connection?  Is it a simple plug, power up, and the TeraStation will be online?

Or is there something else I should be concerned about?

I did not set my my Linksys and TeraStation pieces so I and trying to get as much information in advance as possible.

BestBuy will set up the mesh system.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The AmpliFi HD Mesh Point, by Ubiquiti Labs, lets you create a mesh system with an existing Wi-Fi router. ... If you happen to own the company's mesh router and satellites, the Mesh Point can expand the existing network even more.
