Title: How can you Index a Share on an LinkStation LS-CHL NAS with Windows 7?
Post by: draposo on November 19, 2009, 10:13:44 PM

Hi,

I am trying to index files stored on my Linkstation so that I can add them to my Windows 7 Libraries, but I keep getting access denied errors.   I have followed these instructions but it fails every time with access issuses.  http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/4617-libraries-include-network-folder.html   From what I can tell this is either a setting on the Linkstation or a limitation.   I am running firmware 1.0.7 and it is a 1 TB unit.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this matter.

I also followed very similar intructions here  http://www.winstructor.com/news/22/W...-Video%29.html

Thank you
