Title: No Kernel Loaded
Post by: multisy on November 17, 2009, 09:57:10 PM

Just replaced (ALL) four drives in Terastation (TS-1.6TGL/R5) Device uses different subnet then default and TFTP does not work when computer uses (192.168.11.1).  Can still ping unit on 192.168.10.150 but will fail with E04.

Has this unit become a brick?  Is it possible to still force an update into unit?

To do the TFTP make sure you are directly connect to the computer via ethernet.  If it is getting a 192.168.10 subnet then it appears to be getting DHCP

If the units in EM mode then there is no reason to do the TFTP, just flash the firmware.  Also please make your own thread when inquiring about a product.  It will most likely get answered quicker
