Hello,

I have a linkstation live LS-CHL 1.0tb NAS.

Recently the nas stopped showing up in NasNavi. I have windows 7. I'm not sure if it ever showed up to be honest. I am running NasNavi 2.22.

I tried to get in to the WebAdmin page with what I remember my password being and I couldn't get in.

So I rant hrough the factory reset procedure that I found on the forum.

Holding down func when powering it up and then pressing func again and waiting until it boots up.

This didn't seem to solve anything. I can't log in using my old password or the default (admin ... password).

I am not sure what is going on. I can still get to the drive using unc path and my mapped drive. But, not via nasnavi or webadmin.

Any ideas ... this is driving me nutz!

Also as a note I believe I am already running firmware 1.07. I believe I updated that awhile ago.

Try a firmware flash.

I tried running the firmware flash and it doesn't let me. It says it can't find anything to update.

I even tried going into the ini file and disabling version check and turning on debug mode ... but it still won't find anything kinda like nasnavi won't.

I don't know if it matters but I am running windows 7 64-bit.

No responses yet. I am really looking to get this solved as soon as possible.

I want to get into the webadmin page ... so I can setup some ftp configurations.

did you try firmware flash with 1.07 or a higher revision - the higher revisions (1.10 and above) are for a different version of controller and wouldn't see your device.

I am unable to get the 1.07 firmware utility to find my nas.

I can't get either nasnavi or lsupdater to find my nas.

I can get the webadmin page, but I can't log in.

I CAN access data via my windows shares like normal.

I have also tried TFTP Boot Recovery.

It never does anything at all.

This is really frustrating.

Are you trying to get to the Web Admin Via Nas Navi? If you are then just take the IP address and put it in the address bar of a web browser and see if it will let you log into the unit with the default username/password.
