Title: Drive Station HD-CX1.0TU2 Computer won't start while drive plugged in
Post by: ajpn on November 16, 2009, 04:04:06 PM

I have the HD-CX1.0TU2 Drive Station 1TB. I am running XP Pro SP2. When the drive is plugged in my computer freezes at the splash screen. I was told by the tech on the phone that he has heard of this happening when the Nero software is in use. I have tried to disable Nero at start and can't figure out how to do that even running msconfig.exe

Does anyone know any ideas for solution of this?

I have tried other USP ports to no avail.

Thank you for any help you might offer.

By the way, I can plug it in when the computer is running and it works fine.
