Title: LS Live - failed drive - can't find the tftp boot image
Post by: lazarette on November 16, 2009, 03:21:45 PM

Hi,

The drive on my linkstation live gigabit has failed, so I'd like to replace it.

From reading around, it looks like tftp is the way to do this, I've read the sticky, but it points to a non existent ftp site. Where can I find the image I need.

Also - does anyone know what kind of drive I need ? Is it a SATA ?

Many thanks!

Angus

The TFTP link worked for me.  Do you have security settings on your web browser?  Are you on a proxy?

Thanks for confirming - I tried again, and it worked this time.

Do you happen to know what sort of drive I need to buy ? I haven't been able to find any how-to's on changing the drive.

Thanks!
