Title: step by step instruction to make an secured ftp folder ?

Hi,

i've trie to create a folder accessibleonly by ftp, thus :

i created an user "toto"

i created a shared folder called "titi"

i put Shared Folder Support windows and ftp access

i added o this folder, an access restriction read/write only for user toto

 

on web access,

on foler setup, i put "inherited folder permissions"

 

Q1 : do i need to activate web access to use ftp ? (that doenst' make sense for me, but maybe it's mandatory on buffalo...)

 

 

Q2 : what's wrong ??? i can't access on my local network the nas with ftp ....
