Title: Not able to browse NAS unit on some computers
Post by: lfrazier on August 18, 2020, 04:48:38 PM
We just purchased a Terrastation 5410DN.  We have 20 computers on our Windows Workgroup network.
I am able to browse to the device from all computers, but on some (Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 Pro) if I open the shared folder, Windows prompts me for a Windows username and password.  How do I prevent Windows from prompting for Windows credentials?
The setup of the device was very easy, but this issue is a bit puzzling.
The issue is not seeing the device, but accessing it.

Use Windows credential manager.
