Title: Invalid serial number!

I purchased a Linkstation Live 1.0T  (LS-CH1.0TL-EU) from Amazon two days ago (5th Nov 09)

 

I can not access the Web Admin I just get a blank page with no where to enter a password, (this is with or without firewall enabled)

 

The unit was shipped with v1.10 software so I figured maybe the update to v2.21 was required however I am unable to access this download as it clam's the serial number is invalid

 

Any ideas would be welcome as I'm already thinking this was a mistake to buy!

Make sure you are using the right ip address to enter the admin gui.  Check the nas navigator and make sure the device has firmware on it.  Make sure that your ip address is in the same range as the buffalo.  When it comes to your revision of firmware you are going to have to contact eu buffalo support to verify what firmware you can use with your device.  If you still can't get into the buffalo's gui, try tdoing a direct connect from a pc and see if that helps.  See if you are able to get into the gui that way.  Make sure you can still map it.
