Title: How to disassemble HD-LC2.0U3

I have a Drivestation HD-LC2.0U3 that has a failed controller. Need to get the data off the hard drive. The only way I can figure how to get the case open involves a sledgehammer, and I fear that might damage the data.

Does anyone know of an easier way?
