Title: Pro Duo 1.0 TB LS-W1.0TGL/R1 **DLNA** Please Assist
Post by: leshin on November 11, 2008, 02:16:49 PM

I just bought the Linkstation Pro Duo 1.0 TB LS-W1.0TGL/R1 after being told that it is DLNA certified.

Unfortunately now i am told by Buffalo that the version 1 is not DLNA certified whereas version 3 it is.

Have i been mislead??

Is there a way arounnd this problem?

You see my goal is to have the NAS appearing on my Playstation 3.

Please guide me through this issue.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately there is no way to add this feature to this model.

So how do you know which type is DLNA? For example I have a LS-W2.0TGL/R1-V3, does V3 mean it is DLNA certified?

If it has 2 USB ports on it then it is a version 3 and if it has firmware 3.** then it is version 3. Hope this helps.
