Title: TeraStation TS 2.0 TGL/R5 hard drive replacement
Post by: kochdie on November 05, 2009, 07:14:58 AM

Hello,

we have a TeraStation TS 2.0 TGL/R5 with 4X500Gb hard drives.

Two of them failed and need to be replaced. Now the station entered EM mode. It got IP address and subnet mask from DHCP, but no default gateway (it is set to 0.0.0.0) so it cannot be managed remotely.

What is the recommended procedure of hard drive replacement ? After it, will the station exit the EM mode and get the default gateway from DHCP correctly or not ?

Thanks

Diego

No since two hard drives are bad you will have to replace the 2 hard drives and try the TFTP procedure to get the firmware back on.
