Title: Unable to update firmware
Post by: CFink on May 18, 2020, 04:35:46 PM
I have a handful of 5400R NAS devices at different sites globally.  They say there is a firmware update available.  I login as admin and go to do the update but then it errors with "The operation cannot be executed'.  Other sites state that there is a firmware available and they update without issue.  Do I just need to reboot the problematic ones?

Thank you for your help.

a reboot is worth a try. It may be worth determining if something is being blocked via firewall as well.

If the automatic update feature won't work you could try downloading the firmware updater on a PC at the same site and manually performing the firmware install with it.
